There is nothing more satisfying than returning to your home after being away
for a number of years, according to Army Sergeant First Class, Hank Niemann Jr.
A graduate of Colby High School, Niemann has just been assigned as a recruiter
to the Neillsville Army recruiting station.
“I’ve been trying to get assigned here for some time,” said Niemann, who
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Niemann Sr. live in Spencer. “I was thrilled to
learn that I’d be able to live and work in the area I grew up in,” he said.
Niemann, who comes from his latest assignment at Bloomington, Minnesota Army
recruiting station, is married and the father of two children. “My wife and
children are just as anxious as I am to move to the area,” he added.
Since joining the Army in 1960, Niemann has seen duty in Vietnam and Hunter Army
Air Field in Georgia among his tours. His office is located at 631 Hewett St. in
Neillsville.
