Schultz, Lottie (90th - 1978)
Guest of honor at the November meeting of the Happy Homemakers Club was Lottie
Schultz who was to celebrate her 90th birthday the day after the meeting. Held
at the home of Mrs. Otto Rakestraw home, the club feted her for 36 years with
the Happy Homemakers, a charter member. She married Herman Schultz in 1907 and
had five children, including Harvey of Hampshire, Ill., Archie of Granton,
Victor of Eau Claire, Bertie of Neillsville and Mrs. Walter (Emma) Sester of
Neillsville, plus 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. A
cake was made by Rosanne Rakestraw and Lottie was presented a number of gifts
including a silk Corsage. This past August, she and her husband celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary.
