Risch, Gertrude (15 February 1904 – 18 November 1978)

Mrs. Harry (Gertrude) Risch, 74, of Merrillan died Saturday, November 18, in the Memorial Hospital, Black River Falls.

The former Gertrude Neumann was born in Chicago on February 15, 1904. She married Harry Risch at Crown Point, Ind., in 1920. They lived in the Hatfield and Merrillan areas. He died in 1967.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Lechy Merrillan; a son, Frank Risch, Merrillan; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were held Monday afternoon at the Merrillan Church of Christ with Dennis Frazier officiating. Burial was in the Hatfield Cemetery. The Jensen Funeral Home, Hixton, was in charge of arrangements.
