Lund, Florence (10 July 1909 – 4 February 1979)

Mrs. Clarence (Florence) Lund, 69, passed away on Sunday, February 4, in Arizona, where she and her husband were spending the winter months. Florence Gauthier was born in Canada on July 10, 1909. She and her husband had been residents of Humbird many years.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Joan Nelson of Randolph and Mrs. Allen (Linda) Putman of Humbird; a son, Andrew, Eau Claire; her mother, Mrs. Armond Trewyn, Thorp; two sisters, Edith Grunor of Delevan and Irene Ottman of Oceanside, Calif.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fairview in rural Humbird, on Saturday. The Rev. Joseph Marx officiated, with burial in the church cemetery. The Jensen Funeral Home, Hixton, was in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were Robert Gilbert, DeWayne Parent, Arthur Laffe, Orville Smith, Dick Matti and Frick Theiler.
