Among 2,000 students participating in the University of Wisconsin graduation
exercises at the Field House in Madison on Sunday, December 17, 1972 was Mrs.
Gwendolyn Peterson of Curtiss. Mrs. Peterson, who earned her Bachelor’s Degree
in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, and her
library accreditation from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, received her
Master of Science degree in Library Science. She is the librarian at Abbotsford
Junior-Senior High School.
Accompanying Mrs. Peterson to Madison were her husband, Ralph, their daughters
Carol and Nancy and their sons Gary and Jim. Also present were their sons Dick
of Mankato, Minnesota, and Tom and his family from River Falls, as well as Mrs.
E. M. Peterson of Curtiss and Margaret Missling and Debbie Mueller of Withee.
