Haase, Caroline (16 Sep 1887 – 1 Jan 1973)

Mrs. Caroline Haase, 85, Rt. 1, Stanley, died Monday evening at Victory Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Haase was born September 16, 1897, in Austria and came to the United States in 1903. She went to the Stanley area with her husband, Louis in 1914, and they farmed in the Town of Worden (Clark Co.). She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Christian Mothers Society.

Survivors include four sons, Raymond, Stanley, Lawrence and Herbert; two daughters, Mrs. Fritz Jappe, Bremerton, Washington, Miss Lucille Haase, Seattle, Washington; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Marx officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stanley.
