Siok, Christine (28 Apr 1973)
Lilies were on the altar of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Gilman (Lublin) for
the marriage of Christine Siok and Harold Kolasa on Saturday, April 28, 1973.
Reverend Casmier Paul officiated at the one p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Peter Siok, Thorp and Mr. and Mrs.
William Kolasa, Gilman.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown styled with an empire
waist of Chantilly lace and organdy over white organza, with white satin bow to
accent waist in bodice front and back, high collard of Chantilly lace, sleeves
of organdy, full and gathered at the wrist, and Chantilly lace sleeve cuff. Her
veil of Chantilly lace trim and organdy was floor length, gathered to princess
style and was held by a crown headpiece with stain bow over lace. She carried
Ececharis lilies, white roses, fern and green ribbon.
Albina Siok was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Carol Kolasa, Linda Draeger,
Sharon Klemick and Virginia Siok. They wore dresses of yellow satin with white
and yellow lace overlay on bodice, puffed sleeves of white lace and high collar.
Each carried bouquets of long stemmed white rose and yellow tipped carnations.
Gerald Kolasa was best man, with Gary Wilcenski, Joe Pawlak, Jon Vizelka and
Albert Siok as groomsmen. Ushers were Charles Webster Jr. and Jim Czabor.
A reception and dance were held at Koolmo’s Ballroom, Gilman.
The bride is a clerical worker with ITT Life Insurance Corp, Thorp, and the
groom is a cheesemaker with Drangles Dairy, Gilman, until a job in teaching is
available.
After a wedding trip to Northern Michigan, Canada, Niagara Falls, New York,
Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois, they will make their home in Gilman,
Wisconsin.
