Mrs. Helen Zwanenburg passed away January 1, 1973 at the County Hospital in Owen at the age of 88 years.

She came to this country from Holland about 69 years ago with her husband and began farming in Reseburg, then on a farm in Mead, where she resided until she went to the hospital in Owen. Her husband preceded her in death sixteen years ago.

Her survivors are four nephews and three nieces.

Pallbearers were Frank Fillo, Larry Fillo, Frank Biddle, Leland Biddle, Anton Hendricks and George Telford.

She was laid to rest in the East Thorp Cemetery.
