Szymoniak, Rose (20 Aug 1914 – 22 Dec 1972)

Rose Szymoniak, 58, died at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire on December 22, 1972 of a cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church, Lublin, on December 26, 1972 at ten a.m., with Rev. Falkowski officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Eugene Zakrzewicz, Ten Hendzel, Mayland Ogurek, Ed Troinski, Frank Dus, and Steve Shewczyk.

Rose Ruda was born August 20, 1914 at Thorp. She was united in marriage to Walter Szymoniak January 27, 1934 at Lublin.

Surviving are her husband, Walter, her parents, John and Sophie Ruda; three sons, Kenneth, Conrad and Roger, all of Eau Claire; three grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Ruda, Thorp, Edward Ruda, Bloomer; two sisters, Irene Nelson of Round Lake, Illinois and Delores Fryza of Lublin.
