Jollivette, Florence (31 October 1904 – 14 March 1979)

Florence Jollivette, 72, a longtime resident of Greenwood, died March 14, in Victory Memorial Hospital, Thorp, where she was a patient since March 9 following a stroke. Mrs. Jollivette, the former Florence Grebe, was born October 31, 1904, in Lancaster, where she received her education. Her second marriage was to Lee Jollivette, November 18, 1936, in Galena, Ill. He died October 4, 1975.

Survivors include two stepsons, The Rev. Norbert Jollivette of Jewell, Ia., and Dale Jollivette of Greenwood; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Elaine) Schwan of Loyal; three grandchildren; and twelve step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a son, Raymond Ackerman.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, from the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, with the Rev. David Logue, pastor of the Zion United Church of Christ officiating, with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Duane Olson, the soloist, was accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Gary Schultz. Pallbearers were Larry Jollivette, Martin and Donald Schwan, Arthur Christie, Thomas Behrens and Kenneth Speich.
