UW-Farm Short-Course (Grads - 1979)
Over 130 men and women recently received graduation certificates at the
completion of the 1979 farm and industry short course of the College of
Agricultural and Life Sciences of UW-Madison.’’
From Clark County were Jeffrey Karlen, Rt. 1 Owen; Daniel Doerner, Rt. 1
Dorchester; and Pascal D’Huyvetter, a three-year certificate, Rt. 1 Humbird.
The Clark County students joined others from 49 Wisconsin counties and Illinois
plus those from Saudi Arabia, Panama, Costa Rica, Switzerland, France, Taiwan,
China and Pakistan. The classes, which run 15 weeks, began November 13, 1978.
