Marshall, Bette, New Optometric Treasurer (1979)
Recently elected treasurer of the Optometric Assistant of Wisconsin was Bette
Marshall, Neillsville. She was chosen at that group‘s annual convention, held in
Green Bay this past weekend.
Marshall is an optometric assistant to Dr. John W. Foster of Neillsville, who
with his wife attended a president’s banquet on Saturday evening and witnessed
the induction ceremony for the new state officers.
Educational seminars regarding new procedures and programs being used in
optometric offices were presented by four specialists from the optometric
profession and associated businesses.
At an annual awards luncheon, Kathy Laes, Green Bay, was selected as optometric
assistant of the year. Joining in receiving awards were Alice Derby of Green Bay
and Nettie Wojahn of Eau Claire.
Bette and her husband, Norbert, reside on the River Road, southwest of
Neillsville. She has been employed for thirteen years in Dr. Foster’s office.
