Moennigs Are Honored (1979)
Two Neillsville students were among the more than 2,500 UW-Whitewater students
who achieved academic honors during the second semester of the 1978-79 school
year.
Of the total, about 405 received grades of “Straight A” for a 4.0 average.
Another 860 also were accorded first honors for grade point averages of from
3.50 to 3.99. Second honors, for grade point averages of from 3.00 to 3.49 went
to about 1,294 students. To earn honors, a student must carry at least 12
credits, with no grade below a “C”.
Receiving honors were Jan L. Moennig, Neillsville, first honors; and Douglas R.
Moennig, Neillsville, second honors.
