Cook, Kermit (27 Aug 1919 – Jan 1973)
Kermit Cook, age 53, formerly of Thorp, Wisconsin, and presently of Route 3,
Princeton, Illinois, died suddenly at the Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton,
Illinois.
He was born August 27, 1919 in Thorp, Wisconsin, son of Edmund and Ula (Graham)
Cook. He was married to Helen Wilson on July 4, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She
was a former Stanley area resident.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Douglas and David, both of
Princeton, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Linda) Vetter of Princeton,
Illinois; two grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cook of Thorp; one
sisters, Mrs. Henry (Inez) Broeren of Tiskilwa, Illinois; and one brother,
Floyd, also of Thorp, Wisconsin.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Maiden Methodist Church in
Illinois, at 1:30 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Gene Johnson officiating. Burial
was made in the Malden Cemetery.
