Wuethrich Creamery Employees (Awards - 1979)
Several employees of the John Wuethrich Creamery Company, rural Greenwood,
received honors at the 26th annual awards banquet for the company, held at Our
Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood, March 31.
Truck drivers were the center of attention. Recognized for their accident-free
performance behind the wheel were Raymond Johnson, Loyal, and Merle Krehmeyer,
Neillsville, who each have driven over 500,000 miles safely. Also honored were
Lawrence Jackson of Greenwood with six years’ experience; Tom Behrens,
Greenwood, four years; and Nyle Brandt, Daniel Krehmeyer, Frank Reising and
Harold Dillenbeck.
Presented with a radio for his 35 years with the company was Norman Dahl, Loyal,
Earl Caliebe and Donald Kocher both received gold watches for 25 years and Edwin
Olson gained an award for having served five years with the company.
The group was entertained by the Clark County Male Chorus, under the direction
of Kendall Smith and accompanied by Iris Musil, both of Neillsville. Howie
Sturtz II, Neillsville, a company management staff member, was master of
ceremonies.
