Risch, SSgt Charles E. (Service Notes - 1979)
Staff Sgt. Charles E. Risch, son of Frank N. Risch, Merrillan, recently was
presented the Army Commendation Medal at Fort Riley, Kansas.
The medal was awarded for meritorious service. Such service can be over an
extended period of time or for outstanding achievement in a single situation.
Risch earned the award while assigned as a platoon sergeant with the 1st Supply
and Transport Battalion at Fort Riley.
His wife, Julie, lives in Junction City, Kansas.
