Chrzaszcz, Stephanie (24 Jul 1893 – 22 Feb 1973)
Stephanie Chrzaszcz, 79, passed away at the home of her son, Steve Chrzaszcz, on
February 22, 1973. Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin,
on February 26, 1973. Reverend Casmir Paul officiated at the ten a.m. service,
with interment being made in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Ed Abramowicz, Walter Hendzel, Garry Biddle, Joe Stokosa,
Raymond Popowski and Adam Pawlicki.
Mrs. Chrzaszcz was born July 24, 1893 in Sucha, Poland. She came to America in
1905. In 1915 at Minneapolis she was united in marriage to Michael Chrzaszcz,
who preceded her in death in 1960. She lived in Minneapolis, later moving ot
rural Lublin on a farm. In 1963 she went to live with her son. She was a member
of St. Stanislaus Parish and Rosary Society.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Charzaszcz, Lublin, Julius Chrzaszcz of Chicago;
one brother, Joseph Swiatek of Sucha, Poland.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jozen, in March of 1964.
