Surnames: John Nied, a student at Wisconsin State University, River Falls, has
been appointed World Ambassador for the State of West Virginia by Arch A. Moore,
Jr., Governor of West Virginia.
John was a representative for the State of Wisconsin in 1972, to the National
youth Science Camp held near Greenbank, West Virginia. He was appointed by
Governor Patrick Lucey of Wisconsin to represent our state in 1972. John is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nied of Route 3, Thorp.
