Knutson, Jon D. (5 December 1964 – 26 August 2021)
Jon D. Knutson, 56, Arpin, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 26,
2021, at his home.
Jon was born on December 5, 1964, in Marshfield, to Glen and Jean (Herzberg)
Knutson and was a 1983 graduate of Auburndale High School.
He married Sandra L. Baumbach Crist on September 3, 2010. She died on May 13,
2012. Jon was employed as a lead person at Wisconsin Homes until the present
time. He enjoyed fishing with his best friends Kenbob and George, hunting,
canning tomato juice, making beef jerky, cooking and playing in pool leagues. He
was a Viking fan in Packerland! Jon was a kindhearted, energetic, positive, and
happy individual and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his daughter Kierstynn Knutson of Stevens Point, and his
siblings James (Cindy) Knutson of Pittsville, and their son, Ryan; Jeffrey
(Sheila) Knutson of Auburndale, and their daughter, Jenna ; Jackie (Leroy)
Berkholtz of Wisconsin Rapids, and their children, Nicole (Ken) Schunke and
their children, Jesse, Abel and Jade, and Kelly Berkholtz (Joe Schooley);
Jalayne (David) Anderson of Auburndale and their children, Jared, Jordan and
Taylor; and Jennifer (Jeff) Korbal of Arpin and their children, Megan, Melissa,
Morgan, Madison and Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sandy and a nephew Jeremy
Knutson.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at
Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.
until service time. Rev. Gary Markworth will officiate. Burial will be in Arpin
Cemetery.
