Frenette, Dorothy (1926? – 2 Jul 2021)
Dorothy (Czech) Frenette formerly of Thorp, WI, passed away on July 2, 2021. She
was the daughter of Roman and Elizabeth Czech, the former owners of the White
Eagle Tavern and Mile Away Ballroom.
She was preceded in death by her son Mark; her husband James (Jim) Frenette; her
sister Valerie and brother-in-law Larry Carter; along with brothers: Eddie and
Ray Czech.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Bette (Jim) Haley, Folsom, CA., Donna (Dr.
Donato Stinghen) of Piedmont, CA. and Yvonne, Kohler, WI.; 1 son: Arnie of
Sheboygan, WI.; two grandsons: Jeff (Debbie) of Folsom CA. along with great-
grandsons Parker and Carson Reguera and Kevin (Tiffany) of Redding, CA. and
great-grandsons Sammy and Cooper Reguera.
Dorothy and Jim joined her sister Valerie and her husband Larry Carter in the
San Francisco Bay Area of California and settled in Fairfield, CA., home of
Travis Air Force Base. Dorothy was the office manager for the newly formed
family business, Supercuts, and continued as the office manager for the next
forty years. She traveled the world with all of her daughters visiting Poland,
Prague, Budapest, China, Hawaii, Las Vegas and joined her daughter Bette, Jim
and family on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas. Her life was full and she lead an
active life while still driving and working into her nineties. Her three
daughters, Bette, Donna and Yvonne were at home with her and were at her bedside
when she passed away. Her son Arnie, prayed with her. Our Mom passed away
peacefully shortly thereafter. She was 95 years of age. She will forever be our
Loving Mom.
