Mary Borek, 81, died at her home at rural Lublin.

Funeral services were held Monday morning, March 26, 1973, ten a.m. at St. Mary’s Polish National Church, Lublin. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Borek, Mary (29 May 1891 – 23 Mar 1973)

Mary Borek, 81, passed away at her home in Lublin, on Friday, March 23, 1973. Mary Milas was born May 29, 1891 in Poland, coming to the states in 1911, residing in Chicago. In 1913 she was united in marriage to Mike Borek in Chicago. In about 1925 they moved to Lublin.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Church, Lublin on March 26 at ten a.m., with Rev. Falkowski officiating. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were nephews: Irving Bieno, Joe Milas, Walter Milas, Stanley Milas, John Crossett and Steve Micholewski.

Surviving are her husband, Mike; one son, Mike Borek Jr., Lublin; two daughters, Joseph O’Neil, Chicago, Ann Wilson, Elmhurst, Illinois, and two sisters in Poland.
