Bischoff, Lula (6 Jul 1879 – 25 Mar 1973)
Mrs. Lula Bischoff, 93, died Sunday morning at Victory Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 6, 1879 at Rushford, Minnesota. In 1915 she was married to
August Bischoff at Rushford, and the couple came to the Town of Taft (Chippewa
Co.) in 1922, where they farmed until 1962.
They moved to Gilman, and when he died in 1968, Mrs. Bischoff moved to Stanley,
and had since bee a resident of Victory Memorial Nursing Home.
She is survived by two brothers, Roy and Vern Otis, Rushford, Minnesota, and two
sisters, Mrs. Bernice Johnson, Rushford, and Mrs. Ethel Temborg, Consul,
Saskatchewan, Canada.
Funeral services were Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, with the
Reverend Carl Peters officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
