Crothers, Carolyn (Scholarship – 3 May 1979)
The College of Agriculture of UW-River Falls held its annual recognition banquet
Thursday, May 3. Scholarships were awarded to deserving agriculture students and
Myron Mommsen a potato grower from Rice Lake was named the 1979 Wisconsin
Distinguished Agriculturalist. Most of the scholarships are maintained by
Wisconsin and nearby Minnesota agricultural businesses and individual
agriculturalists.
Carolyn Crothers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Crothers, Rt. 1 Neillsville,
received the $100 John May Memorial scholarship, awarded to a sophomore majoring
in agriculture.
