Clark Co.-UW-Eau Claire (Grads – 15 May 1979)

Commencement ceremonies for students graduating from UW-Eau Claire will be held this coming Saturday, May 15, in the university arena. In that group are five area men.

Earning degrees are:

Mark VandeBerg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Russel VandeBerg, Neillsville. He received a BA degree with a major in sociology and a business administration minor.

Steve Sizer, son of James and Carol Sizer, Greenwood. He received a BA degree with a journalism major and has accepted the sports director position for KMVT-TV, Twin Falls, Idaho.

Brian Lindau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lindau, Neillsville. He earned a business administration degree with double majors of information systems and business administration. Active in Phi Beta Lambda, he has accepted a position as a programmer-analyst for Modine Manufacturing in Racine.

Howard Corey, son of Gary Corey, Neillsville and Hatfield, and Carole Schuese, Tomah. He will receive a business administration degree with majors in that area. While a student he was active in UW-Eau Claire’s Young Republican Club, served as its chairman and was selected outstanding chairman by the Wisconsin Young Republican Clubs.

Bill Brekke, son of Dr. and Mrs. E.H. Brekke, Neillsville. He earned a BS degree with a major in chemistry.
