Boie, Janice (27 Mar 1973)
United Chapel, Las Vegas, Nevada was the setting chosen for the four o’clock
marriage of Janice Boie and Jerry Raimer on Tuesday, March 27, 1973. The
Reverend Paul L. Kapp performed the ceremony before an altar adorned with red
roses.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Norval Boie of Stanley and Mr. and Mrs.
Donald Raimer of Portage.
Foer her wedding the bride wore a sun yellow floor length double knit dress,
which she made herself. It was A-line and featured long, bell shaped ragian
sleeves and a small roll collard. Her corsage was of yellow and bronze pompoms.
The groom was attired in a black tuxedo with deep gold shirt and matching bronze
pompom boutonniere.
Following their honeymoon in Las Vegas, a dinner reception was held for the
immediate family at the Maple Grove Church, and later at the home of the bride’s
parents on Saturday, April 1.
The bride is employed as a secretary at the University of Wisconsin Center at
Fond du Lac, and the groom is employed in Oshkosh as an entertainer with Dave
Clark and the Jayhawkers.
Mr. and Mrs. Raimer are making their home at 3117 Sheldon Drive, Oshkosh.
