Cina, Robin Ann (26 May 1979)
Robin Ann Cina and David Russell Kuehn were wed in rites at St. Mary’s Catholic
Church in Neillsville, May 26. The Rev. Joseph Henseler officiated at the
Saturday afternoon services. The bride, who was presented at the altar by her
father is the daughter of Frank Cina, Rt. 1 Neillsville. The groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Kuehn, Granton.
The bride chose a gown of sheer Sat-aglow satin with Venetian lace on the
appliqued slit-neck bodice. The gown also had bishop sleeves, a flounced skirt,
chapel-length train and long veil. She carried a trailing bouquet of red roses.
Colleen Knuth, West Bend, was the matron of honor. She was joined by Heidi Kuehn
of Granton, Maureen Fennessy of Neillsville, Amy Cina of Genoa, Diane Huth of
Granton and Sandra Oestreich of Neillsville. The matron of honor was in a blue
sheer nylon-over-taffeta gown and the others were attired similarly in lavender.
All wore matching hats and carried two long stemmed yellow roses with the
exception of the matron of honor who carried a medium sized bouquet similar to
the brides. Kelly Kuehn, Granton, was miniature bride while Michael and Kimberly
Raasch, both of Hartford, were ring bearer and flower girl.
Bestman was Ed Gibbons. He was joined by Bob Gorst, Gary Scharf, Brad Kuehn,
Jerry Steinbach and Russell Mannigel, all of Granton. Ushering were Tim Harder
of Greenwood and Dave Chase of Granton.
“If,” “The Wedding Song,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” and “Follow Me” were musical
selections offered by Shelley Krejci, Ed Gibbons, LaVonne Dux, accompanied by
Ronald Resong.
A reception in the church basement followed the ceremony. Prenuptial events
included showers given by Mrs. Russell Kuehn, Mrs. Robert Mortenson, Colleen
Knuth and Maureen Fennessy.
The bride attended District I Technical Institute in Eau Claire and studied
secretarial sciences. The groom has completed a one-year program in
refrigeration and is employed by Kuehn’s Appliance Service of Granton. After a
short wedding trip, the couple made their home in a Granton Apartment.
