Decorah, Kelly (8 August 1940 – 5 September 2021)
Kelly Decorah, age 81, of Marshfield, formerly of Neillsville, died Sunday,
September 5, 2021, at the Colonial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Colby.
Kelly Leland Decorah was born on August 8, 1940, in Dells Dam, Town of Dewhurst,
the son of Allen and Katherine (Thompson) Decorah. He worked as a carpenter,
electrician and most recently as a casino security guard. He was united in
marriage to Donna M. Franck on June 1, 1996, on the Pow Wow grounds of the
Ho-Chunk Nation in Black River Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, six children, Connie (Scott) Lokken of
Marshfield, Carol Neumann of Marshfield, Kelvin (Carmen) Decorah of Neillsville,
Catherine (Eric Bergstrom) Bolssen of Granton, Kristopher (Jennifer) Decorah of
Neillsville, and Keith “Baby Boy” (Erin) Decorah of Neillsville, two
stepchildren, Donald (Gretchen) Franck of Marshfield, and Carl (Michelle) Franck
of Marshfield, twenty-two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one son, Kelly “Bucky” V.A. Decorah, his parents, a
brother, Elmer and three grandchildren, Shelby, Nevaeh and Willie.
Funeral Services for Kelly will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9,
2021, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Frank Mutchler will officiate.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Thursday at the Gesche Funeral Home.
