Sunday, May 6, 1973, Gilbert Gene Voelker made his First Holy Communion at St.
Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp. A brunch was held afterwards at his home, with
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Kratochvil and Lisa of Chicago, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Kratochvil of Nodgkins, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Gene Mertens, Lynn, John and Mark
of Withee, and Gilbert A. Voelker in attendance, and a dinner later in the day.
