Wilson, Beverly J. (19 May 1979)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville served as the site for the wedding of Beverly J. Wilson and Allan D. Boon, Satruday afternoon, May 19. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Wilson, Rt. 3 Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boon, Rt. 1 Greenwood.

With the Rev. Joseph Henseler officiating, the bride was given away by her father. Carrying a spray of Fuji white mums, white carnations, yellow roses and baby’s breath, the bride chose a gown of organza, featuring long sleeves trimmed in lace at the wrists, lace neckline, an accented raised waist of Venician lace and a fingertip veil.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Lois Hagedorn of Neillsville, who was joined by Mrs. Dolores Horn of Greenwood and Diane Wilson of Neillsville. They were attired in peach-colored gowns that were gathered at the waist, had bottom ruffles, floral yokes and sleeves trimmed with lace. They also wore peach-colored hats and carried bouquets of yellow daisies and baby’s breath.

Louis Hagedorn was bestman. He was joined by Melvin Boon and Ronald Ormond while Duane Boon and Michael Wilson served as ushers. All were from the Neillsville-Greenwood area.

Candace Horn and Colette Short provided the music at the services and included “Follow Me,” “We’ve Only Just Begun” and “The Wedding Song,” were the selections.

A reception at the Neillsville American Legion followed the service.

Prenuptial events included a shower hosted by Lois Hagedorn, Dolores Horn and Diane Wilson.

The groom a 1969 graduate of the same high school also graduated in 1970 from District I Tech in Eau Claire and is employed by Boon Brothers Construction.
