Humbird-Eastern Star Installs Officers (1979)

Darlene Hansen of Humbird was installed Worthy Matron of the Humbird Chapter 109, Order of the Eastern Star in ceremonies held Thursday evening, June 7, at Humbird.

Other offices serving with her for the ensuing year are Harold Losey, worthy patron; Gladys Losey, associate matron; Anita Markham, secretary; Romona Duerkop, treasurer; Winnifred Joos, conductress; Cheryl La Gaisse, associate conductress; Elmer Duerkop, chaplain; Dorothy Sieg, marshal; Maude Kirby, organist; Marjorie Washburn, Adah; Mayme Laffe, Ruth; Helen Stallard, Esther, Mae Hahn, Martha; Alma Zimmerman, Electa; Earl Zimmerman, warder; Maynard Nelson, Sentinel; LaVern La Gaisse, Earl Zimmerman and Elmer Duerkop, trustees.

Installing officers for the occasion were Ruth Van Gorden, Neillsville, installing matron; Charles Brauner, Black River Falls, installing patron; Carrie Brauner, Black River Falls, installing marshal; Violet Edwards, Alma Center, installing chaplain, Beryl Steinbring, Eau Claire, installing organist; Marion Ray, Neillsville, installing conductress; Art Papke, Fairchild, warder; Rolla Sieg, Humbird, Sentinel.
