Rodman, Bernard E. (7 July 1914 – June 1979)
Bernard E. Rodman, son and brother of Neillsville area residents, passed away in
June at Corona, Calif., following cancer surgery in early February. He was born
in the Town of Pine Valley to Horace and Mildred (Wheelock) Rodman on July 7,
1914. He attended schools in the Loyal and Neillsville areas.
He was married to Daisy Oldham on July 7, 1934. She preceded him in death in
April 1935. In July 1941, Bernard was united in marriage to Regina Gallagher of
Harvey, Ill., later they moved to Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Regina; one daughter, Carol of California; one son,
Tom of Illinois; and his mother, Mrs. Mildred Rodman, Neillsville. Also
surviving are four brothers, Cecil of East Troy, Robert of Monico, Clyde of
Minocqua and Harley of Wyoming, three sisters, Mrs. Hallie (Ruth) Schultz of
Omro, Mrs. Birdine Oman of Jackson, Michigan and Mrs. Bernard (Ruby) Kuhn,
Neillsville. He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Rodman, December 22,
1973.
