Two students from the Thorp area have achieved high marks at the University of
Wisconsin Marathon County Center at Wausau, and have been named to the second
semester Dean’s List.
They are John Grucelski, route 1, Box 292, and Natalie Markowski, route 3, Box
364, both of Thorp.
They are among 111 UWMC students cited with academic achievement during the
second term. Only students who grade point averages are 3.25 or better are
listed. The letter grade A equals 4.0.
The 111 represent about a seventh of UWMC’s spring term enrollment of 712.
Twenty-one UWMC students were cited for perfect 4.0 averages.
