Miss Carol Ann Lobacz, West Allis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lobacz,
Thorp, became the bride of Ronald Otto Fredrickson, Greenfield, son of Mr. And
Mrs. Otto Fredrickson, on Saturday, June 23, 1973 at two p.m., with Father Will
Grelle officiating at St. Hedwig’s Church. Miss Heidi Huls was soloist.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white imported organza gown
in an Empire A-line silhouette featuring a high neckline of ribboned Venice lace
with a pinafore bodice, bishop sleeves and pleated organza hemline. The chapel
length mantilla was made to match the crown and was completely framed with lace.
She carried yellow roses.
Miss Barbara Lobacz was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Debbie Lobacz
and Miss Jill Turenne. Their dresses were made of frosted daisy cotton, empire
waisted with daisies bordering the yoke and hem and styled with long gathered
sleeves and a ruffle at the neck and hem. The dresses were blue, yellow and
orchid, with each girl carrying daisies to match their dresses.
Douglas Bloom was best man, with Dennis Erickson and Travis Misfeldt as
groomsmen. Ushers were Roy Lobacz and Jim Erickson.
The wedding day events followed at the Thorp Legion Hall.
The bride, a graduate of Thorp High School, is employed with Brigs and Stratton
in Milwaukee. The groom, a graduate of Stanley High School, is with Williams
Contractors as an aluminum siding and trim employee.
They will make their home in Milwaukee.
