Clark Electric Cooperative will sponsor five area high school students to the tenth annual Electric Cooperative Youth Congress at River Falls, July 10 – 13, 1973, Manager Harland Bergemann announced.

The Youth Congress, held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, is sponsored by the Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association, Madison, in cooperation with the College of Agriculture at UW-River Falls.

Students sponsored to the Youth Congress by Clark Electric Cooperative are: Barbara Bird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bird, Greenwood; Deborah Jean Friedenfels, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Friedenfels, Owen; Lynette Will, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Will, Colby; Ed Beyerl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aloysius Beyerl, Colby; and Richard Soborowicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Soborowicz, Thorp.

During their stay on the River Falls campus, the young people will attend seminars on cooperatives, government and problems of today and the future. They will participate in various activities, including the election of a new seven member state youth board.
