Dyre, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey (40th - 1979)

Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre, Rt. 3, Greenwood, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at their home on the afternoon of July 7.

The celebration included musical offerings by Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wagner and their daughter, Nicole, and Carl and Ron Hillman and their children, Missy, Deanell and Donetta; a reading by Karen and Nicole Wagner; and with Joe LaMonica as master of ceremonies.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stuber, the original attendants, were present from Mondovi.

The couple has five daughters, Mrs. Joe (Colene) LaMonica, Rolling Meadows, Ill.; Mrs. Donald (Joan) Szepanski, Juneau, Alaska; Jane, La Crosse; Mrs. Dick (Margie) Olson, Holmen; and Mrs. Arlene McFarlane, Greenwood. They also have nine grandchildren.
