Kyle, Mr. and Mrs. Claude (Golden - 1979)
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kyle, Neillsville, celebrated their golden wedding
anniversary, Saturday, June 23. A special mass was held at St. Mary’s Catholic
Church with Father Jacob Burgraf officiating. A reception and dinner followed at
the American Legion Hall.
Mrs. Kyle wore a long pink and white gown with a golden corsage while Mr. Kyle
wore a dark suit with a gold boutonniere. Two cakes were made by Jane Pettit and
decorated with gold and white trimmings. The couple was married in Patchgrove by
Father Francis Gray. Of the original attendants, Agatha (Schneider) Langkamp was
present.
The Kyle’s have five children, Gervase, Ventura, Calif.; Sister Willa (Marie),
La Crosse; Mrs. Peter (Clara) Misovy, Cudahy; Lawrence, Neillsville; and Patrick
(deceased). There are eight grandchildren, including Steven, Jerry, Dick and
Robin Kyle; Brian and Sheila Misovy; and Scott and Rebecca Kyle.
Out of town guests were Mr./Mrs. Gervase Kyle, Ventura, Calif.; Sister Willa
Kyle, La Crosse; Mr./Mrs. Peter Misovy, Brian & Sheila, Cudahy; Mr/Mrs. Fritz
Swatzina, and Victor Swatzina and Mr./Mrs. Robert Kyle & family, of Stanley;
Mr./Mrs. Ted Swatzina and Lorraine Poszarski & Sons, Eau Claire; Mr./Mrs. Gordon
Swatzina, Chippewa Falls; Jon LeClair & Neil, and Mr./Mrs. Edward Kyle & family,
of Milwaukee.
Also present were Catherine Barthel, Glendive, Mont.; Mr./Mrs. Joe Dietz, Al
Dietz and Agatha Nestler, all of Beach, N.D.; Elizabeth Lavdy, Mr./Mrs. Herman
Dietz, and Mr./Mrs. Ed Dietz, of Sentinel Butte, N.D.; Sister Eileen Dietz,
Richardton, N.D.; Agatha Langkamp, and Mr./Mrs. Roy Kemetzer, Platteville;
Germaine Bukoski, Fennimore; Mr./Mrs. Ed Schneider, Prairie du Chien; Mr./Mrs.
Tony Wagner, Glen Haven; Mr. Joe Wagner, Bloomington; Mr./Mrs. Al Wagner, New
Vienna, Ia.; Mr./Mrs. Joe Langel, Manchester, Ia.; and Philomena and Dorothy
Schneider, Dyersville, Ia. And many friends also attended the celebration.
