Siok, Teofila (11 Nov 1881 – 27 Jun 1973)

Teofila Siok, 91, resident of the Town of Taft (Taylor Co., Wis.) passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Jankowski, Chicago, Illinois, on June 27, 1973, after a long illness.

She is survived by three sons, Peter (Genevieve), Henry (Rita), and Chester (Carol); one daughter, Lottie (Walter) Jankowski; eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and brother, Bennie Nieptupski.

Teofila Siok was born in Poland November 11, 1881. She came to Chicago, where she lived and was united in marriage to Stanley Siok on October 29, 1901; then moving to Thorp, where they lived and farmed, and then moved to the Town of Taft in 1927, where they continued to farm.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley in 1961; also her parents, Walenty and Susanna Nietupski; one sister and one brother; three daughters and two sons.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. June 30, 1973 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin. Remains were interred at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
