Returning from a trip to Europe are Donette Bonk and Jim Maguire. They left here
on May 17, 1973 and flew to New York, where they spent a few days with Jim’s
parents. On the 21st of May they boarded their plane at Kennedy International
Airport and landed in Luxembourg some eight hours later. From Luxembourg they
visited a wide variety of education and historical sites in the beautiful
countries of Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Spain, France, Belgium and Germany.
The two back-packed throughout Europe, as most young people do today, staying in
International Hotels, designed for this purpose. The trip came to a much too
quick a close when they returned to New York on the 21st of June. From New York
Donette took a plane to the airport in Minneapolis on the 24th of June. There
she met her family. Donette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bonk, Owen,
and Jim is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Maguire of Bergenfield, New Jersey.
