White, Joseph A. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class (Service Notes - 1979)
Navy Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Joseph A. White, son of Genevieve J. White, Rt.
2 Granton, has been promoted to his present rank while serving aboard the
destroyer tender USS Yosemite, homeported in Mayport, Florida.
A 1973 graduate of Granton High School, he joined the navy in September 1975.
