Richmond-Higby (Reunion- 1979)

The thirteenth annual reunion of the Richmond-Higby family was held Sunday, July 29, at the Dairyland Fox and Coon Hunters Club. A potluck dinner was served. The oldest of the 40 present was William Richmond, Neillsville, who is 93.

Joining him were these relatives: Mrs. Fern Ackerman, Ogden, Wa.; Michael Gruetzmacher, Nakoma, Ill.; Mr./Mrs. Robert Richmond, Fennimore; Mr./Mrs. Louis Kretlow, Sussex; Mr./Mrs. Dick Velland and Douglas, Menomonee Falls; Mr./Mrs. Fred Harp, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Norman Horn, Wausau; Mr./Mrs. Al Dittmar and Mr./Mrs. Cy Splangler, of Watertown; Mr./Mrs. Jesse Richmond and Marvin, Bobbie & Johnnie Nelson, of Granton; Florence Schwarze, Laura Richmond, Mr./Mrs. Norbert Horn, Mr./Mrs. Jerald Richmond & Wayne, Susan & Ellen, Mr./Mrs. Paul Humke, Kurt, Todd, Joel, Dale and Tina, and Mr./Mrs. Viv Carteron, of Greenwood.

The afternoon was spent visiting and card playing. The next reunion will be held July 27, 1980.
