Lutheran services, the afternoon of August 18. The Rev. Donald Gauerke
officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Winkel, Rt. 1
Granton, while the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Polivka, Rt. 3
Stratford.
The bride, carrying a bouquet of orange roses, white gardenias, baby’s breath
and ferns and with flowers in her hair, was escorted to the altar by her father.
She chose an ivory-colored gown that featured a sheer polyester and lace over
satin skirt and lace jacket.

with a sheer brown overlay and carried a bouquet of orange mums, yellow
starbursts, straw and wooden flowers and ferns. Bestman was Duane Polivka. Music
at the wedding was provided by Judy Polege.
Following the services, a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents.

of Stratford High School and is employed by Weyerhauser. The couple will make
