On Saturday, July 29, 1973, initiation ceremonies were held at the Davies
Center, University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire for sixty-four charter members of
the Beta Sigma chapter of Delta Pi Epsilon.
Mr. Daryl Braatz of Thorp was a charter member of Delta Pi Epsilon and was also
elected treasurer of the newly formed chapter. Mr. Braatz is a teacher in the
business education department at Thorp High School.
