Bartkowiak, Katherine (26 Apr 1887 – 6 Aug 1973)
Katherine Bartkowiak, 86, a resident of route 2, Thorp, died at Victory Memorial
Hospital, Stanley, Monday, August 6, 1973. Funeral services are being held
today, Thursday, August 9, 1973, eleven a.m. at St. Mary’s Czestochowa Catholic
Church. Burial will be made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Katherine Franckowiak was born April 26, 1887 in Poland. In 1904 she was united
in marriage to Michael Bartkowiak in Poland. After their marriage they came to
the United States and settled in the Junction area, and has lived there since.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1960, and three sisters.
