Felician, Doris I. (7 December 1928 – 28 September 2021)
Doris I. Felician, age 92, of Owen, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021,
at the Clark County Health Care Center under the tender care of Hospice
Doris was born on December 7, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Louise (Lapinski)
Kunkel in Stanley. She graduated from Owen-Withee High School and received a
teaching degree from UW-Stevens Point. Doris taught 5th grade at Stetsonville
Elementary School for 26 years.
On July 16, 1949, Doris was united in marriage to Joseph Felician. He preceded
her in death on April 10, 1998. She enjoyed gardening and loved to read. Most
importantly, Doris cherished her family.
Doris is survived by her four children: Ellen (Basil) Kiedrowski of Plover,
Barbara (Chas) Kinnison of Unity, Susan (Rick) Sossaman of Abbotsford and Bruce
Felician of Colby; four grandchildren; Elise (Rick) Tanquary, Brian Kiedrowski,
Karyn Kiedrowski and Travis (Stephanie) Sossaman; two great-grandchildren:
Talissa Tanquary and Tristen Tanquary; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; aunts and uncles.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at
Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Withee. Pastor Daniel Vang will officiate.
Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Visitation will be held
from 9:00 a.m. until time-of-service Saturday at the church. The
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen is entrusted with the arrangements.
