Cameron, Mary E. (5 January 1899 – 3 September 1979)
Mary E. Cameron, 80, passed away on Monday, September 3, in the Neillsville
Memorial Home. Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday morning,
September 5, from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial in Camp Butler national
Cemetery, Springfield, Ill. The Rev. Joseph Henseler was to officiate with the
Gesche Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The deceased was born on January 5, 1899, in Emden, Illinois to Robert and Mary
(Woods) Kritzberger. After receiving her education, she taught school in Chicago
for many years.
On October 7, 1937, she married Daniel N. Cameron in Springfield, Illinois,
ceremonies. The couple resided there until the death of her husband in early
1965. Mrs. Cameron moved to So. Milwaukee and lived with her sister. In 1976,
due to failing health, she became a resident of Neillsville Memorial Home. She
left no survivors. Preceding her in death, besides her husband, were three
brothers and two sisters.
