Dux, Loriann Marie (25 August 1979)

Making their home on Rt. 5 Neillsville, are the new Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Langreck, who were married in Saturday afternoon, August 25, ceremonies in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville. The bride, Loriann Marie, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dux, Rt. 2 Neillsville, while the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Langreck, Rt. 5 Neillsville.

With the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating, the father of the bride presented her to the altar. Offering music for the occasion were Lisa Chaltry and Steve Dux, offering “A Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

The bride was attired in a short sleeve dress completed by a veiled hat. She carried a bouquet of all white, small roses and baby’s breath.

Cindee Harder, Neillsville, was the maid of honor. Barbara Schoengarth of Janesville, Mrs. Caroline Kosmosky of Neillsville and Shelly Dux of Janesville assisted her. Two of the bridesmaids were in mint green and the other two were in yellow. They carried matching flowers of carnations and daisies, and each wore a matching carnation in their hair.

Wayne Opelt of Neillsville was the bestman. He was joined by Daniel Miller, Peter Langreck and Bryan Dux, all of Neillsville. Ushering were Mark Dux and Roger Langreck, both of Neillsville.

Following the ceremony at St. John’s, a dinner was held in the school gym, a reception was hosted at the Harold Langrecks and a dance closed the evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The bride is a 1978 graduate of Neillsville High School and a 1979 graduate of Mid-State Technical Institute at Marshfield and is employed as a medical assistant in the Neillsville Clinic. The groom is a 1976 graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed by Gaier’s Construction, Neillsville.
