Rogers, Sharon Marie (15 September 1979)
Sharon Marie Rogers and James Edward Mildbrand, Sr., were united in Marriage on
the afternoon of September 15 in Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood.
The Rev. Alwyn York officiated. Parents of the couple are the late Raymond and
Marcella Rogers, Marshfield, Ed, and Ella Mildbrand, Rt. 1 Curtiss.
The bride chose an ivory Qiana laced gown and carried a nosegay bouquet of
orange daisies, carnations and autumn leaves.
Serving as matron of honor was Mrs. Mary Becker of Madison. She was joined by
Mrs. Nancy Carr of Bear Valley. They were attired in orange Qiana gowns and
carried daisy nosegays.
John Mildbrand of Wausau was the bestman. Tom Ebert of Seymour assisted him
while John and Richard Becker served as ushers.
Ken Rogers and Susan and Jack Peterson offered music at the wedding with a
reception following at the Greenwood Legion Hall. The couple left on a wedding
trip to Mackinac Island. The couple will reside at the pre-wedding residence of
the bride in Greenwood.
The bride is a graduate of Columbus High School in Marshfield and from
UW-Stevens Point in 1972. She is director of the Clark County adult Development
Service. The groom is a 1965 graduate of Colby High School, attended UW-Eau
Claire fro two years and is now plan manager for Greenwood Milk Products.
