Kornesczuk, Robert “Bob” (? – 1 Sep 2021)
Robert "Bob" Kornesczuk passed away September 1, 2021, unexpectedly at UW
Hospital in Madison, WI. Bob was born in Marshfield, WL, and grew up in Gilman
on the family farm. Bob graduated from Gilman High School. Through his school
years Bob enjoyed football, baseball, fishing and driving around. Shortly
graduation, moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, working on a dude ranch and for
Clark Ready-Mix. For his next adventure, Bob moved to California and began
working at Hadrian Construction. Shortly after starting at Hadrian, Bob ventured
on his own to open his own business "Bob K. Stukko" in Oceanside, California
where he specialized in lath, scaffold and plastering. After many years in
California, Bob made his way to De Pere, Wisconsin where he lived close to his
family. Settling into his life in De Pere, Bob brought his beloved cats Duke and
Daisy, later adding to his family with Darcy. Bob's love for his cats gave him a
purpose and kept him going through his health struggles and dialysis
appointments.
He is following the passing of his parents Tony and Marcy Kornesczuk; Brother
Sam (infant); Maternal Grandparents Louie and Lottie Stokosa; and Paternal
Grandparents Tom and Mary Kornesczuk.
Bob is survived by his sister Peggy (Lonnie) Swaney of De Pere; Billy (Michelle)
of De Pere; He also is leaving behind his nephews: Christopher and Jacob Swaney,
who lovingly called him "Uncle Awesome"; also numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins.
A special thanks to Bob's lifelong friend Lisa, who stuck with him through many
years and was by his side at the end of his days. Please join us in remembrance
of Bob on Friday, October 1, 2021. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at
St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with a service to follow.
Arrangements have been made with Cuddie Funeral Home.
