Kauffman, Christopher J. “Beaver” (18 April 1973 - 30 September 2021)
Christopher J. "Beaver" Kauffman, age 48, of Greenwood, passed away unexpectedly
on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
Chris was born April 18, 1973, in Neillsville, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Triebs)
Kauffman. He graduated from Loyal High School. Chris was employed as an operator
for Trierweiler Construction located in Marshfield.
His hobbies included tending to his corn and soybean crops, growing delicious
vegetables and canning them. He loved his International Tractors and collected
them as well. For those who knew Beaver, you knew he was a great cook and his
co-workers loved getting together with him around his smoker. Sometimes, the
greatest thing for Chris was hanging out in his garage with the love of his
life, his girlfriend (Jenn Koenig).
He is survived by his siblings: Michelle (Layne) Jorgensen of Edinburg, TX,
Raquel Kauffman of Elroy, Tami (Michael) Anderegg of Great Falls, MT, Roland
(Jenny) Kauffman of Stratford, Reginald (Lisa Larson) Kauffman of Spencer,
Jennifer Kauffman of Great Falls, MT, Jerome Kauffman (Dawn Larsen) of Loyal,
Kip (Jennifer) Kauffman of Stratford, Renee Ossmann (Kevin Jensen) of Rib Lake,
and Mary (James) Bauman of Mosinee, and by his special love Jenn Koenig. In
addition, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Kauffman
and a sibling named Tamra in infancy.
In lieu of flowers for Chris, please donate to the:

All of his family, friends and co-workers are invited to gather and share
memories of Chris on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. at Life
Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer. Chris’s wish was to have his family hold a
simple and private committal service in a place that was special to him at a
later date.
