David A. Schauer, a 1963 graduate of Thorp High School, and a 1967 graduate of
Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire, has been recently been commissioned 1st
Lieutenant, United States Army Reserve. In order to receive this commission, Lt.
Schauer completed 230 hours of Army Correspondence courses, plus maintaining his
regular duty assignment as Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of Career
Management Division. His present assignment as a 1st Lieutenant is
Administration Officer of Career Management Division, Reserve Component
Personnel Administration Center Augmentation Unit (RCPAC-AUG) in St. Louis
Missouri.
1st Lieutenant Schauer is the son of Mrs. Sarah Schauer, Thorp, Wisconsin, and
is employed by 3 M Company in St. Louis, where he and his family have resided
for the past five years.
